About Us:

A project co-created by four european organisations, resicare works on researching and developing tools to help those who help: social workers and health professionals.

We get together in rotating venues to share, train and co-create strategies and tools, and better understand the needs of health and social professionals throughout europe.

We work on frequent,  sustained  and nourishing communication among partners in the project, in order to guarantee solid learning and increased adaptability.

Becoming more aware of mental health challenges , the difficulties and opportunities that arise from working with diverse communities…and helping caregivers in developing resilience are our goals.

Animacción Arteterapia is a Young NGO, directed towards developing resilience in social groups from various backgrounds. We work under the premise of the profound capability of art in changing and learning. We are also driven by the belief that individuals and groups hold the clues to their own development and healing.

Animaccion highlights the capacities of each person facilitating instances of exchange, creation and reflection so that authentic and liberating learning can develop solid roots.

The art therapist is a mediator between the production and the creator himself, and responsible of asking the appropriate questions and suggestions to make the creation evolve and in thus offer the person a new way to look at his/her limitations and dreams.

Animaccion Spain, is a group of people committed to social development, cooperation and inclusive health and learning.

Animacción was pushed forward, in 2017, by two Art-therapists (see below) coming from Latin America and who had gained experience working in Europe for many years. The project was made possible by a number of people linked to teaching, social work and non-governmental organizations. In this few years we have developed bonds with local communities (Nou barris, Barcelona), launched projects in Residential homes for the elderly, Autism centres, Homeless women institutions and collaborated with fellow NGO´s working in cooperation. In 2018 we entered our first Erasmus + European Project ( Resicare) partner, thus beginning a different way of exploring and sharing art-therapy with a wider community. Higher and professional education institution in the social, medico-social and health sectors, IRTS Paris Île-de-France (Institut Régional de Travail Social Paris Île-de-France).

Present at three sites in Ile-de-France, Paris in the 10th arrondissement, Melun and Fontainebleau in Seine-et-Marne, IRTS Paris Ile-de-France aims to train and qualify social intervention actors: diplomas and certifications from level 5 (infra bac) to level 1 (bac+5), but also social work research

The history of the training institution is in line with the tradition of social work and its training system in France. Thus, IWH finds its foundations in Christian charity, Catholic since 1945 in a post-war context, a period that saw the emergence of important activities aimed at children and adolescents. For this establishment (not yet IRTS), the aim was to train “Catholic child assistants and monitors” to care for children with physical disabilities, who were then described as “socially maladjusted” in the provinces and in Paris. After a period of “nomadism” both in terms of training locations, financial management and organizational and training choices, the first steps of the future school of social work founded the future establishment in 1971, with the purchase of a building located at 145 avenue Parmentier in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. “From a nomad, she will soon become hospitable. First arrival: supervised education in 1984. The Centre régional de formation Île-de-France de l’Education surveillée then provides training courses there. Second arrival: the Institut social familial (ISF) in 1985. Created in 1933 in Paris under the name of Institut social familial ménager, it is a school for social service workers. In 1988, the Ecole pratique de formation sociale (school for early childhood educators), which came from the rue de Charonne and was managed by the Union familiale, entered the walls of Parmentier, completing the training structures for social workers. We should also mention the hosting of associations allowing exchanges with students, such as Animation jeunesse, an association for popular education, or Danses Beaux-arts in 1985. In 1990, the school was approved by the Ministry of Social Affairs as the Institut régional du travail social Paris-Ile-de-France. In 2004, the Institut Parmentier merged with IFRAD (Institut de formation et de recherche en aide à domicile et en établissement)” Today, the training centre has 3 establishments: one in Paris in the 10th arrondissement and two in Seine et Marne (Melun and Avon). 2018 is the first year of Erasmus + European Project (“Resicare”) partnership participation, The trainers of the institution taking part in the project work in the Family Social Economy Counsellor (CESF) stream: Line MARIALE: Social work assistant, graduated in 1989 in Paris, directed institutions for the elderly (residential homes) before practising the profession in sector versatility (general social work) in Paris. She worked in the 18th arrondissement on different districts for 13 years. Called to testify about her involvement in training institutions, she followed a university course in Paris 10 Nanterre, where she will obtain a Master 2 in Educational Sciences with a specialized clinical orientation in Professional Practice Analysis and Psychosocial Intervention in 2007. This training approach aimed to qualify her in the accompaniment of adults in training and to lead groups of people in a changing situation. She joined IRTS Paris IDF in January 2004 as part of the reform of social work training and is now involved in the training courses for social service assistants and family social economy advisors. Since 2007, she has supplemented her intervention in the professional field with support for professionals in professional situations, analysis of professional practices, team supervision and thematic approaches, particularly in relation to working with groups. These meetings, through “outside the walls” training in foreign territories with Dalila MECHAHEB (colleague and Head of the CESF sector) will give rise to her participation in research projects within the framework of a partnership between IRTS Paris IDF and a university in Chile (USCH), and more recently in the European project Resicare. lmariale@parmentieridf.asso.fr Dalila Mechaheb, a trained family social economy consultant, began her professional career in 2000 in a departmental social service in Ile de France, in sector versatility. Its main functions were centred on welcoming and supporting people in budgetary difficulties, indebtedness, over-indebtedness and/or housing problems, unpaid rent, eviction procedures, etc. Its fields of intervention evolved in 2005 and diversified into child protection, professional integration, health issues, etc. In parallel with the professional activity of social intervention, she welcomed trainees in social work and became interested in pedagogy, to continue with a Master 2 in Educational Sciences obtained in June 2006. Today and since 2005, she has been working as a trainer and training manager for apprentice social workers. These field experiences in meeting vulnerable groups have led her to further training in family and marital therapy (systemic approach), which she undertook in 2014 and completed in 2018. She has also developed and participated in international mobility projects and research projects in recent years on the issue of professional practices in social work. dmechaheb@parmentieridf.asso.fr

The mission of Képes Alapítvány is to help different target groups to develop their social emotional learning (SEL) competencies. We explore, adapt/develop, evaluate and promote SEL programs and initiatives.

We find this field important as SEL competencies are shown to increase academic and work achievement and they help better adjustment in everyday life. These skills can be taught and developed and can help disadvantaged people to “beat the odds”.

We set up programs for those who lack these skills the most and who have little chance to have access to such trainings. We also target those professionals who work with these target groups (e.g. social workers, youth workers).

We mostly work with volunteers and involve external experts related to specific projects.

HISTORY:

Képes was set up in 2014. Since then we started to collaborate with a host of national and international partners to create materials (trainings and freely available guidebooks) to develop the social emotional skills of different target groups (senior volunteers, unemployed people, youth workers, social workers). We experimented with various methods along the way: we use cognitive behaviour techniques regularly, but also also incorportated art therapy, storytelling techniques and theatre methods in our trainings.

We have been participating in European projects from the very beginning.

People participating in the RESICARE project are:

Anna Rácz:

She is the President of the Board of Trustees and the coordinator of international projects in KÉPES. She has an MSc in economics (Finance) and an MA in Cognitive Psychology. She started her PhD programme in Psychiatry in September 2014 at Semmelweis University (Hungary).

She has a Cognitive Behaviour Consultant diploma launched by the Hungarian Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies and has a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist certificate launched by the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT).

She has experience in preparing, carrying out and evaluating research projects in the field of intergeneration, social skills development and in social network research.
